SMA has for many years delivered
services and product solutions to Not-For-Profit
organizations. This sector has special
requirements due to their logistics and budget
constraints.
CLIENT ISSUE
Our client came to us and described a complete list of
requirements that included remote support for their
Chapters around the United States. Their legacy system
was no longer capable of supporting requests that came
to their central location via email and their staff was
not large enough to provide the growing demands of
separate locations.
SOLUTION
SMA submitted a proposal that detailed how HEAT
would meet and even exceed the expectations outlined in
their Request for Proposal. HEAT was especially
attractive because it would integrate seamlessly with
the organization's Microsoft Exchange/Outlook email
environment. The organization was also impressed with
HEAT's Business Process Automation (BPAM) capability,
which provided a method for automating escalations and
notifications.
At the end of the implementation, SMA provided training
to end-users and system administrators, which allowed
this organization to leverage its technology investment
with their own support of the application.
