HEAT Service & Support 8.4.5
HEAT 8.4.5 addresses outstanding issues in the product
line, as well as offering a new "If Field is Empty"
AutoTask action.
-
New
"If Field is Empty" AutoTask allows the system
to conditionally launch an AutoTask based on
whether a field has been populated with a value.
-
enteo
Integration Settings allows HEAT Users to
configure the login credentials to access enteo PC
Lifecycle Management features. The settings
are configured in the HEAT Administrator module
under Defaults >> enteo Integration Setup.
-
enteo
Integration Update Service includes an installer
in HEAT that installs the enteo Integration Update
Service. This service updates and creates the
integration tables where HEAT will validate
information from when integrating enteo PC Lifecycle
Management Product.
-
Updated Run A Program AutoTask was enhanced with
the addition of the following Options:
-
"Wait
for the Program to Terminate" - If the AutoTask
has an action
(i.e. create Journal) after the "Run A Program"
action, those actions will not execute until
after the program has terminated.
-
"Save
date before starting the program" - Saves the
Call Record before running the designated
program.
-
"Reload data from database when the program
terminates" - Refreshes Call Records after
application is finished with task.
HEAT Service & Support 8.4.4
In HEAT 8.4.4 HEAT technicians have new one-click button
access to features of enteo directly from the HEAT
console:
- View compliance of individual PCs, and take
necessary actions to repair the computer
- Distribute patches and hot fixes
- Satisfy new software requests through
auto-deployment of the software
- Provision new employees (set up work-stations,
install operating systems and other software)
- Gain access to end-users' computers through
remote-control to troubleshoot during a service call
HEAT Self
Service 8.4.4
Previous versions of HEAT Self Service required that
IIS be set to IIS 5.0 isolation mode. Now, HEAT
Self Service provides compatibility to Internet
Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and can now be run in IIS
6.0 isolation mode.
