version of FrontRange ITSM.

FrontRange ITSM Version 6.1.1 is Available!

 

The latest version of FrontRange ITSM is 6.1.1.  This is a full release for existing customers who wish to upgrade to the 6.1 feature set.  This release includes new features & updated patches.

 

FrontRange ITSM 6.1.1 Features Include:

  • Enhancements to the Self Service Module

    • New end user features:

      • Log incidents & service requests from Self Service

      • View important announcements on the home page

      • Help themselves with easy access to FAQs

      • Initiate Knowledge Base searches for helpful articles
        from Self Service prior to creating a ticket

    • New service agent features - create & publish FAQs & Announcements.

    • Provides role-based access to Searches, Dashboards & Change Approvals.

    • New "Click to Talk" feature allows users to auto-initiate a voice call to the
      IT Technician from the portal.
       

  • Configuration Management Add-on Module:  Visualization
    This powerful tool allows Configuration Managers to graphically map & view a visual diagram that represents a Business Service & its relationships to the Configuration Items (CI's) that deliver that service.

    • Drag-and-drop interface to create maps of CI's & their relationship

    • Document a baseline configuration to indicate changes & deviations

    • Perform impact analysis of changes to services offered, users & other CI's
       

  • Foundation Enhancements

    • Support for the latest Microsoft presentation technologies in .NET 3.0 as well as Microsoft Office 2007 & Outlook 2007

    • Enhanced multiple attachment management

    • eDirectory Single Sign-on

    • Direct LDAP authentication

    • Spell checker

    • Standard copy/paste options

    • Enhanced support for HTML

    • Capability to author HTML templates

    • Support for HTML email templates

    • ClickOnce Installer

This release is not available via the FrontRange Solutions Customer Support website.  Please contact SMA to upgrade to FrontRange ITSM 6.1.1.
