Improving the basic
foundation of HEAT can often
be overlooked during the
process of expanding your
HEAT system. We often
spend too much time
focusing on complex details that we forget to
acknowledge how important
the structure of our forms
and screens really are.
Effective screen design can
improve workflow and data
quality, shorten resolution
times and facilitate
reporting. If
you are looking to get a solid feel for
committing changes in HEAT,
including creating and
removing tables, fields and
modifying forms, and
understanding the impact to
existing records, then this

- Understanding the
Impact - Identify
system tables &
understand how to avoid
potential issues.

to create additional
tables to use as
validation drop-downs
for fields.

Who Should Attend
Prerequisite
- Familiarity with
HEAT and very basic
database concepts; the
instructor will spend
time explaining the
different tables and
properties of the
database.
- The attendee will need
to have a minimum of HEAT
8, however the instructor
will be using HEAT 8.45 as the
live environment.
